ABOUT THE PROGRAM
What is the Opportunity Scholarship?
The North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship Program provides state-funded scholarships to help families pay for eligible educational expenses at participating private schools.
The program is administered by the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority (NCSEAA). Scholarship eligibility, award amounts, application periods, and program requirements are determined by NCSEAA and may change from year to year.
Using Your Scholarship at Long Hill Christian School
Long Hill Christian School is a participating school in the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship Program.
Families who receive an Opportunity Scholarship may designate Long Hill Christian School as their participating nonpublic school. Scholarship funds received on behalf of an enrolled student are applied toward eligible tuition and fees.
Admission to LHCS
Receiving an Opportunity Scholarship does not guarantee admission to Long Hill Christian School. All prospective students must complete our regular admissions and enrollment process.
Scholarship Awards
Scholarship eligibility and award amounts are determined by NCSEAA, not Long Hill Christian School.
Remaining Balances
Families are responsible for tuition, fees, and other expenses not covered by their scholarship award.
School Selection
Families who receive an award will follow NCSEAA's process for designating their participating nonpublic school.
